"Look up and not down Look forward and not back   Look out and not in    Lend a Hand."    Edward Everett Hale   MISSION  Lend A Hand Society provides emergency financial assistance to low-income families, individuals, elderly and disabled people primarily in the Greater Boston area. Working with advocates at non-profit and governmental social service agencies who make requests on behalf of their clients, LAH helps them meet their basic needs in a timely, dignified way.
