Thank you to Kenneth Woodcock and his team for graciously hosting and presenting several of our donors with an opportunity to learn more about LAH’s founder, Edward Everett Hale’s homestead in Matunuck, RI. It was a special day with a visit to Hale House and its nearby boat house, as well as an opportunity to see some of the important and impressive art of Hale’s family.  The tour brought to life what Hale and his children saw at the time, the inspiration for their many works of art.  It is a scenic and serene landscape where the house and surrounding area somehow seem to be stopped in time, preserved, and left untouched, as Hale and his family would have experienced it all 150 years ago. We appreciate Ken’s hospitality and are grateful for his vision and ability to bring this valuable restoration project to fruition for others to explore and enjoy. Thank you, Ken.
