On May 15th, board members and staff gathered at one of their homes to honor Kenneth Woodcock and his long standing support and connection to Lend A Hand Society. Ken and LAH have a common interest in Edward Everett Hale’s history – Ken, being a collector of Hale family art and beautifully restoring the summer home of the Hale family in Rhode Island, and LAH having been founded by EE Hale. To celebrate this special relationship, board members volunteered their culinary skills to make the dinner a meaningful occasion, expressing gratitude to Ken for his friendship and generosity. Ken’s research and art curation have added a valuable dimension to LAH’s understanding of Hale and his family. Thank you Ken for your meaningful and continued support.
